New or Qualified: Your Filler Route

Dermal filler training sits at Level 7, and what you need before it depends on where you start.

If you are new to aesthetics

Begin with the Level 3 foundation course, which asks for no earlier qualification. Then take the Level 4 skin rejuvenation course and the Level 5 practitioner course. Level 5 is the main gateway to Level 7.

If you already hold qualifications

A recognised Level 5 qualification in non-surgical aesthetic practice, or an equivalent, puts you in reach of the Level 7 diploma. Practitioners with relevant prior qualifications and experience can ask about the Level 7 dermal fillers certificate.

If you come from healthcare

Healthcare professionals can often start higher up the route. Tell us your background and we will say which step is realistic.
